The Flanagan High School PTSA, in partnership with the Guidance Department, invites all parents, teachers, guardians and students to join PTSA and attend the programs that will assist you in making your high school experience a successful one.
The following is a schedule of all the programs that may be oferred for the 2009-2010 school year including the land a brief explanation:
College Applications
The college applications process is often complicated and confusing. Important dates, essay writing information, on-line procedures and financial information will be presented.
Broward
More than 200 colleges, universities, technical institutes and military representatives will present information on college admission, financial aid, and scholarships. This college fair will be held at the
College Financial Planning
Discover and explore ways to finance your student's college career. FAFSA and student loan information will be presented.
Freshman Focus
As parents and students begin to settle into high school, this seminar will FOCUS on the information needed for success in high school and beyond. Understanding the complexities of credits, GPA, Honors and Advanced Placement classes are highlighted. Ninth grade parents don’t miss this one!
AP Potential
Determine if AP classes are the right fit for your student. Guidance personnel will be on hand to help unravel the mystery.
